About Us

Bush and Beyond is a Kenyan Safari Company based in Nairobi, incorporated in 2003 for central reservations services; and then amalgamated in 2010 with two long standing safari companies – Richard Bonham Safaris, operating since 1978 and Bush Homes of East Africa since 1995.

We are entirely Kenyan owned and staffed, with a team of thirty people.

Central reservations - Bush and Beyond is the central reservations office for House in the Wild, Lewa House, Ol Malo Lodge, Ol Malo House, Ol Malo Nomad, Tangulia Mara Camp, Reteti House, Sarara Camp, Sarara Tree and The Emakoko. Our central reservations team work with enquiries specific to these properties. The properties are located on community and wildlife conservancies, a UNESCO world heritage site (Lewa Wildlife Conservancy) and private land. All are owner operated (some for two generations) and offer fantastic safari experiences in their own right, or combined in an East African safari itinerary. Equally, each of these places complement itineraries combined with other Kenyan and East African safari camps and lodges.

Safari planning - Bush and Beyond provides local ground handling services (DMC) planning safari itineraries throughout East Africa; arranging city hotels, safari camps, beach resorts, connecting charter & schedule flights and vehicle transfers. Bush and Beyond is able to organise all in country logistics for a safari itinerary and has a dedicated team of eleven who are happy to advise, quote for, and book requested itineraries.
