Owners & Host

The properties are hosted by the Wood family and their team of local staff.
The Swahili word “karibu” expresses the genuine, open pleasure that this amazing team take in welcoming their guests.  Tarquin and Lippa Wood, along with their daughters Tamara and Pepali, and son Wilbur, live 5 minutes away from the house.

As a family, we have been very fortunate to have a beautiful holiday home in the African bush. We have had so many lovely memories and special times here as a family and want to share it.  It combines the best elements of a comfortable safari lodge with the rustic charm of a country farmhouse.” ~ Lippa Wood

Guests can get away from the beaten track and experience the ultimate exclusive and private safari alongside a meaningful life changing journey, learning about the inspiring stories of how communities build their livelihoods in harmony with the wildlife of the Enonkishu Conservancy.
